Russian Blue [Mix]

This pretty, little girl is Stormy. She's a one year old Russian Blue mix with a story to tell. She was rescued as a kitten by a shelter in Arizona and quickly adopted. The adopter should have been better screened because when Stormy caught a cold about three months after being adopted, the adoptive family returned her! She was sent to a foster home to recover and her foster mom fell in love with this sweet girl. Once she was healthy, she was returned to the shelter to be adopted. Unfortunately, her cold recurred several times and she was slated for euthanasia. Luckily, her foster mom had relocated from California and had previously been a FOSMAS foster mom. She immediately contacted another FOSMAS foster mom and made arrangements for Stormy to be transported to her. We think her cold may be caused by the herpes virus. This means it could recur or there's a chance she'll outgrow it. To avoid spreading the cold, Stormy should be adopted as the only cat or to a home with other cats that have been exposed to the herpes virus. But, this little girl is such a love, she really deserves a chance to have a long life with a loving family. If you'd like to give her that chance, please contact her foster mom.
