More About Ainsley
ADOPTION PENDING!!
AINSLEY NEEDS SPONSORSHIP TO HELP WITH HER HEARTWORM TREATMENT. Ainsley has heartworms, and Homeward Trails is going to get her treated, but we can't do it without your support! Can you please help save Ainsley?
Can't adopt but want to help? Please contact mirah.horowitz@gmail.com to find out about sponsorship, fostering, and other ways you can help this animal! Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific animal you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.
You can save animals like Ainsley by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to mirah.horowitz@gmail.com.
Meet Ainsley!!! She is a beautiful chocolate lab/chesepeake bay retriever mix. She is a loving, friendly dog that clearly has been someone's pet. She loves to give kisses and lay at your feet. She knows how to sit and walks nicely off leash at her foster mom's side at the park. She greets everyone she meets with a big smile -- and views the world as one great exploration. She also loves playing with her squeaky toys. And, we think she will be quite the retriever when she gets over her heartworms and can run around again!
Ainsley is really still a puppy -- about 1 year old -- and she has a lot of puppy energy. She will be easy to train. She is a super fast learner! She is crate trained and pretty near housebroken
Ainsley would be a great family dog (She LOVES kids!)-- or a fabulous running partner -- or both! Please consider giving Ainsley the home she so deserves!
The adoption fee for this dog is $250, which covers the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery.
