More About Sage

Sage is a 5 year old spayed female Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix. She is up to date on all her vaccinations (distemper, rabies, lymes), tested negative for heartworms, and is on a monthly heartworm preventative (Heartgard).

Sage requires a home with older children (12 years and up). Sage is an alpha female and does not get along with small dogs and can be a bit "nippy" with larger dogs. She does not do well with cats either as she likes to chase them. Because of all of this, Sage needs to go to a home with no other pets.

Sage is a very smart girl, she knows her name, stay, come, down, and can be off leash with or without supervision. She was also taught hand signals for "where's ball?" & "where's Frisbee?". She has lived on a farm her entire life so she has been exposed to cattle and would do wonderful on another farm. Because of her breed and the fact that she is high energy, she will need daily exercise. She loves going for walks and car rides and she is completely house trained.
If you are interested in Sage, please email April at: luckycanineadoptions@yahoo.com Sage's adoption donation is $100.00.
