More About Farley

FARLEY is a handsome teenaged boy born in July of 2007. He and his brother, Granger, were found in a Portland woman's backyard and brought to C.A.T. in March. They started out as two very shy and scared little boys who had had very little contact with humans. Luckily, Farley has come a very long way since his arrival here at C.A.T. He went from hiding in the back of his cage and hissing to running up and begging to be petted! He has grown into a long, lanky gentleman who has a soft spot for tuna flavored Greenies.

Farley was very, very close to his brother, who unfortunately passed away quite recently. The loss of Granger has had a pretty big impact on Farley, but he is bonding with some of the other cats at the shelter and is starting to feel better. He is still a little nervous when it comes to being held, but if you hold out your hand anywhere near him you will be bombarded with head butts and purrs.

Farley has had to cope with a lot in the first year of his life, and he could still use some extra attention to help bring him even further out of his shell. One method is to bring out a feather toy, which is something he can't resist! If you have other cats at home, Farley is perfect for you; you will never find another cat who bonds so easily to his feline friends. Please come meet him at our Sherwood Shelter and let him win you over.
