More About Ben
Estimated 9 to 10 month old male. Red/white.
Wormed. Tested low positive for lyme, for which we are treating him. Heartworm negative. DHPP and Rabies vaccines current.
Ben was neutered on June 19. He is very good for grooming.
Very friendly guy. He loves a chewy.
With boarding season here, I've been interrupted a couple of times, while feeding, by clients coming or going. If Ben didn't get his dinner, he lets me know where I stopped handing out food. He won't let you forget to feed him. He's really a character and I think once he gets into a home and gets more attention, he's going to be a fun dog.
Update July 17, 2008
Ben's skin problems are allergy related. We have ruled out mange and/or scabies. His skin is much improved. We are trying him on a grain free food to try to determine if the allergy is food-related or environmental.
Ben has had a rough start in his young life, but he has definitely retained a sweet, sweet personality. Today, he was curling up against the vet after he was checked over. He just wants to be loved.
Ben is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
