4/10/08: HELLO, MY NAME IS CLANCY FORMERLY COCO! I AM A LITTLE SHIH TZU AND I AM A GREAT COMPANION!! I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN GROOMED AND AM JUST A CUTIE PIE! I AM 10 POUNDS AND APPEAR TO BE ABOUT 2-3 YEARS OLD. I AM A HUGE LOVE BUG AND PLAN TO BE YOUR CONSTANT COMPANION, IF GIVEN THE CHANCE!
I AM LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT HOME WHERE I PREFERABLY CAN BE THE ONLY "CHILD". IF A DOG IS AGGRESSIVE WITH ME, I DO NOT BACK DOWN, SO NEED OTHER DOGS NEED TO BE NONALPHA. I LOVE TO RUN AND PLAY AND HAVE BEEN AROUND YOUNG CHILDREN AS WELL.
I AM NEUTERED, HEARTWORM TESTED, UP TO DATE ON ALL SHOTS, AND MICROCHIPPED. I AM ON FLEA AND HEARTWORM PREVENTION. I AM ALSO HOUSEBROKEN I THINK. NOT REAL FOND OF A CRATE BECAUSE DON'T FEEL I NEED IT!!
I CAME FROM A HOME WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND WAS TOLD I DID WELL WITH THEM. I LOVE TO CUDDLE AND WILL GIVE YOU LOTS OF KISSES! I DO MIND PRETTY WELL AND ,WITH ADDITIONAL TRAINING, EXPECT TO BE DARN NEAR PERFECT!!

GRACIE'S HEART OF GOLD REQUIRES ONGOING PROPER VETERINARY CARE FOR ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED TO INCLUDE HEARTWORM MEDICATIONS, FLEA MEDICATIONS, AND YEARLY VACCINATIONS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS: $250. THESE FEES HELP KEEP THE RESCUE GOING. PLEASE READ MORE!
Adoption fees average $150-$300. This fee varies per animal based on additional vet care required to save them. Due to the rising costs of veterinary care, premium holistic dog food, gasoline prices, and boarding fees, which are paid for out of our own pockets, we recently were forced to raise our fees. We are not funded by anyone - adoption fees help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs > 6 months are vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, wormed and have a goody starter bag. Puppies < 6 months will have at least 2 puppy vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and goody starter bag. If age appropriate, will potentially also be spayed/neutered and have rabies vaccination also.
