More About Marcia

Marcia's Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is THE EXECUTIVE (Orange)

I have to say, I'm a busy cat. First, I've got to check out what's happening out the window. Next, I'll see if any closets or cupboards need looking into. And then there are my naps -- can't be late for those. I can fit a little socializing into my schedule. Shall we plan on breakfast and dinner? I hope you like kibbles.

More About Marcia:

Are you a savyy cat lover with a big soft spot for hard luck kitties? Then meet Marcia. Marcia REALLY needs a home, sooner rather than later, because Marcia has been at CAT for more than 20 months! Because she doesn't like other cats, Marcia's time at CAT has mostly been spent in a cage, and that gets really tough for a girl after awhile. It's hard to say why some cats just fly out the door, while other nice cats are continually overlooked. Marcia's not a lap cat, but she's vocal and will seek out attention. She likes to play in water, enjoys drinking out of the faucet, and she's agreeable to being brushed, especially with a "Zoom Groom" which gives her a little kitty massage at the same time. Marcia has lived with dogs before and might be okay with dogs again if introduced slowly.

Spending all that time in a cage has made Marcia a bit cranky at times (you'd probably be cranky too). Do you appreciate a cat with spunk and an independent streak? Are you willing to give a cat time and space to adjust to a new environment? An adults only home would be the very best for her. She has good litter box habits and prefers wet food. She's pretty sure life at your house would be SO MUCH better than a cage, and definitely does NOT want to spend the holidays here at the shelter again! Come practice your cat whisperer skills on Marcia.

You can adopt Marcia at 50% off the regular adoption fee because an anonymous donor has offered to pay the other 50%. The donor feels Marcia is a great cat and deserves a great home.

We offer a 20% discount on adult cat adoptions for senior adopters (62 and older).
