Karen is one of the sweetest kitties we have ever come across. If you like the aloof stand offish kitty you will have to look elsewhere. Karen likes to be with people in general and you in particular. She has a unique coloring pattern that gives her the look of an artist's palette when painting an autumn sunset. She loves to be held and will purr at the slightest pet. Karen is dog friendly and has passed the Zak test. If Karen had a t-shirt with a slogan it would be "An Empty Lap is a Terrible Thing to Waste". If you would like a bud to keep you company while reading a good book, Karen would be your best bet. There is nothing she would like more than to be your lap kitty. Just give her an occasional stroke behind the ears to start her purr machine and she will be yours forever. Come by and spend some quality time with Karen; She is waiting for you! Karen never wants to be homeless again so she got a brand new microchip!
05/09-Hi, the folks here asked me to say a few words in my own behalf. They are concerned that no one has stopped by to see me because I am an "older" kitty and everyone wants a kitten. I'm not that old; about five now so I have 15-20 years to give to you. How many humans have you known have been that faithful and attentive to you? You can count on me. You see there is no one else in my life except for you. You are or will be my whole life and everything I do will revolve around you. Sure I've had a few bumps along the way; who hasn't? It doesn't make me cynical or vindictive. I may take a while to trust you but that comes from too many bad experiences in the past. I don't let these color how I feel about people once I get to know you. Just ask the caretakers here how much I like them and appreciate all the things they do for me and all the other animals here. I would just like an opportunity to live my life with a family that would love me as much as I know I would love them.
