More About Jill

Yay, Jill found her forever home!! UPDATE ON JILL: Jill had hip surgery on 09/08/08. She is recovering nicely and is ready for her forever home.

PLEASE DONATE to help us pay for Jill's surgery. No donation is too small.
br> Jill is a beagle mix, 31 lbs, around 2 years old and was spayed April 28. It didn't appear that she had been a Mom.
She is now up to date on her shots, is heartworm and Lymes negative. She also has been microchipped.

She is a sweet girl that is tolerant of gentle handling. If grabbed, she is a bit fearful and will growl and show some teeth. I have had ZERO trouble with her. She hasn't snapped at any time!

I have picked her up, inspected her teeth, feet and certainly had to check her out frequently after she had been spayed.

She loves to be petted. When we had some older kids here, she got very wiggly and happy. She played with my 15 year old recently and was much more playful with him than she is with me.

She doesn't appear to have any tendency toward resource guarding. She LOVES to walk on a flexi in our large field and is quite polite on a regular leash.
She has been crated in the mudroom at night. During the day, she is either in the outside kennel, or loose in the mudroom. She has not soiled in the mudroom, or chewed on anything. She is a quiet girl for the most part, but will whine when first put in the outside kennel. She would much prefer to be in the mudroom where she can curl up on the doggie chair.
Jill had FHO surgery last month to correct a hip injury. She is doing very well. She will do best in a home without small children. She LOVES teenage kids. A Basic Obedience class with Love on a Leash dog Training in Harrisonburg is included in Jill's adoption fee. She has been through a beginning agility class courtesy of her foster mom.
Please help find Jill her own family!!

My adoption donation is $175 and helps offset veterinary care received.

Please e-mail for an application. DO NOT CALL.
