Shepherd, Rottweiler [Mix]

Waldo is a very sweet dog who ended up with our rescue group after two of our volunteers found him laying on the side of the road at a busy intersection on a Sunday morning. After a bit of coaxing with a breakfast burrito, we were able to get him in the car and take him home to begin the search for his owner. Unfortunately after running found ads, scanning for a microchip, and posting found signs, nobody claimed poor Waldo so it is very possible he was actually dumped. It is a shame because he is such a wonderful dog. His foster mom can not say enough about how well behaved he is. He gets along well with other dogs, cats and children of all ages. He is housebroken, walks perfectly on a leash and loves car rides. He knows sit, stay, leave-it, and according to his foster mom, he is very smart and adapts quickly. He is extremely calm, rarely barks and can be left inside for long periods of time with out any accidents. Waldo is an exceptional dog and would be ideal for a family who does not have the time or patience to train a puppy as someone has already taken the time to train him so all the work is done for you! Waldo needs to be an inside dog as he does not enjoy being outside for long periods. We are not sure of his age but think he may be around 6-7 years old but he plays like a puppy.
