Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler [Mix]

Jessie is an exceptionally sweet, gentle girl who loves to give kisses. She's very active and recently had to undergo ACL surgery. Jess is just about back to her usual speed and is looking forward to having all exercise restrictions lifted. Her vet does not anticipate any future problems. (He should know, he took lots of x-rays!) Jessie is about 10 years young and still has lots and lots of life in her.

P.S. If you would like to help Jessie but are unable to adopt right now, she could use a friend. Her surgery was an unexpected big expense for Callaway Hills. Doc said most shelters would have put her to sleep, but we wouldn't think of it. We know Jessie is very grateful for her new lease on life and would appreciate any donation that would help with her bills. Any amount at all, would be wonderful!


P.P.S. Jessie would like to thank her friends Bill and Lauren, who very generously donated a Kuranda bed for her, so she can stay more comfortable while she waits for her forever home.

Our $50.00 adoption fee includes spay or neuter, microchip, and basic vaccinations. Since we give our own vaccinations, your local laws may require you to have the rabies vaccination re-administered by a licensed veterinarian. If a puppy or kitten is too young to be fixed before it is adopted, the shelter will pay for the surgery when the pet is old enough. All of our dogs are tested for heartworm and receive heartworm preventative. All of our cats are tested for feline leukemia and FIV.
