Poor Clara...dumped by her owners on a cold winter night and left at the doorstep of her foster moms home. Her foster mom got home late one night and discoverd Clara sitting in a carrier, with the snow falling around her, waiting to be taken in out of the cold.

Why, we ask, did somebody just leave her at the doorstep and not ask for help? We certainly would have helped if asked. It is no fault of Claras that she was abandoned the way she was, but she is still quite bewildered and confused as to why she was dumped by a family that she clearly loved.

Clara is a quiet, shy girl who wants so badly to be given a second chance at a happy home and life. She is slowly adjusting to her surroundings, and shows more promise each day. We will continue to work with her and get her over her shyness, and until the day that she overcomes her shyness and fear of once again being dumped, she will remain safely with us.

We are seeking a quiet home for Clara, perhaps with a retired or senior person who will enjoy having a quiet, affectionate kitty to keep their lap warm. Won't you please consider giving Clara the second chance she deserves?
