Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie

Li'l Bit is a small bi black sheltie with loads of character. She is just 14 months old and sadly had to be surrendered when her owner became homeless. Li'l Bit is shy with new people but it doesn't take long before you become her best friend. She is wonderful and wise with other dogs and even gets along well with a cat in her foster home. Li'l Bit is nervous in new situations and so needs a home with family who will help her gain confidence. She still acts very puppyish and likes to chew things like pillow tassles and the occasional chair leg. She does have separation anxiety and so must go to a home where people will be home much of the day. L'il Bit must go to obedience classes - she is very very bright and will be a quick study. She has a tremendous amount of energy and is very agile. She would do great at agility. Her people must have the time and energy to keep up with her. UPDATE: Lil Bit has been adopted by an amazing family who have the time and energy to keep up with her. She is going to obedience classes and will soon try agility as well - we are certain she will be a star. Lil Bit is enjoying many long walks with her new family and visiting many friends in her neighbourhood. A huge backyard to play in and people who love to snuggle with her, have made Lil Bit a very happy dog again.
