OBSIDIAN is a beautiful black cat that got her name because of her shiny velvet coat. The definition of obsidian is a "gemstone that possesses a unique property of presenting a different appearance according to the manner in which it is cut. When cut in one direction it is a beautiful jet black." Obsidian the cat could not have gotten a more perfect name. Her jet black shiny fur and lime green eyes make her a real beauty!
Obsidian is a quiet sweet cat who remains calm and peaceful despite the noise or chaos that may be going on around her. Some think she is a bit shy but the staff believes that she only needs a bit of nurturing to bring out her great personality. She adores being petted which is an indication that she is very much ready for love. If you are looking for a sweet cat with a calm demeanor, then Obsidian is the one for you.
