More About Miss Dolly

Hello, my name is Miss Dolly but my foster mama calls me Dollywood. She even gave me some rhinestone sunglasses cause I'm sassy. My sight isn't so good anymore, but I am a very smart girl. Once I learn the layout of the house (which only takes me about 4 days) I get around just fine, thank you very much, and you cannot even tell I can't see too well. It's true that I have some health issues, and a special family will need to want me in spite of those, but I am a very special girl. I am diabetic and need a daily injection. The docdoc says that I will probably need to have one of my eyes taken out too. One thing that makes me quite special, well- one MORE thing, is that I ADORE cats. I groom them and groom them until they are like, Dolly! Enough! I am about 11 or 12 years old, still young in dachshund years, and I weigh about 19 pounds. I've been told that I am very friendly and laid back. I have a pillow that I lay on that I just love-love-love.And, guess what! I am housebroken!! How could you not love me? I'm the total package. My adoption fee is $185 but that includes a whole buncha love. We are a small, all-volunteer rescue group, and can consider applications in the Atlanta area only. HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT: Please visit our website at http://www.dreamrescue.org and click on the following links....."Want to Adopt" then click on "Our Online Adoption Application. " My adoption donation is $150, and I will come to my new family fully vaccinated and heartworm tested. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds to families with children under 5.
