More About Gretchen

Hello my name is Gretchen and I was born on April 30, 2006 and I am a pure bred female Clumber spaniel. I am very sweet, outgoing once I get to know you, crate trained, and I get along well with other dogs. Cats interest me a great deal but although I like to sniff them, I’d never try to hurt one. I will make a great companion and will like nothing better than getting lots of petting.

I was very nervous when I first came to live with my foster mom but now I am doing a lot better. I have lots of energy and can walk on a leash really well but probably could use a new owner who is quite active.

I can jump over a four feet high baby gate so a five feet fence is needed so I won't get out and hurt myself or get lost.

I also LOVE to chew and I still have a lot of puppy left in me so I will need to be crated to ensure my own safety, when you aren't home.

Oh, and one last thing; I will never sleep outside all alone ever again so my new family MUST allow me to be an inside companion and treat me as a family member allowing me to enjoy all the comforts they do (well maybe not all but you know what I mean)!

I am patiently waiting for the day I meet my new family but until then, I will keep learning and living with my foster mom who by the way thinks I am swell and she can verify all this, just ask her!

Gretchen is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
