More About CAESAR ADOPTED!
Update 5/28 Caesar is STILL waiting for someone to love him.... rescued from a woman who lost her apartment because of the high cost of her cancer treatment, he's been SUCH a good boy. His owner's life turned upside down when her condo foreclosed.... she was having to move in with a friend to sleep on a couch... and to restart her chemotherapy treatment. We wanted to save Caesar... the ONE good thing that we could do to support her... and so he came to rescue rather than ending up euthanized.... He is good with other dogs, fine with people... .about 7 or 8 years of age and 30'ish pounds. Wont you consider spoiling him for life? You'll be repaid many times over!
UPDATE: 4/5 - CAESAR is in San Francisco. he's doing well with the other dogs in his foster home.... he's looking for his own place though! He's a nice dog, pretty good with people a nd animals. Laid back and friendly. We'd love to find him a GREAT place... please help this fellow!!!
Please check our web page, http://www.wonderdogrescue.org/news.html for dates and locations of our weekly mobile adoptions, as well as for other fun info!
Wonder Dog Rescue is urgently seeking a foster or permanent home for Caesar, a Schipperke/Boston Terrier/cattle dog. Caesar's owner is undergoing treatment for cancer. Her medical costs have caused her home to go into foreclosure. She must leave by Wednesday.... if Caesar has no place to go, he'll be euthanized at their local shelter. We mustn't let this happen! Ceasar is approximately 40 lbs., about knee high or less, and is happy 9 year old, neutered and current on vaccines. Ceasar has been an indoor dog all his life, stays indoor when his owner is not home, and sleeps with her at night. He was happy to meet bigger dogs when out on a leash, but is not good with cats.
Ceasar was teased by some neighbor kids, so we feel that he'll do best in an envionment without young children. He does not seem to be an excessive barker, but will alert you when someone is at the front door.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering Ceasar, please contact Wonder Dog Rescue ASAP 415-756-1306 adoption@wonderdogrescue.org. We WILL make him a "wonder dog" if someone can foster him.... PLEASE HELP GIVE THIS WOMAN THE PEACE OF MIND THAT COMES FROM KNOWING HER DOG IS SAFE.... Although she is homeless and facing a life threatening illness, Caesar wont have to die in the shelter too.
Thank you so much.....
CAESAR ADOPTED! is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
