More About Lily
Lily's Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is SIDEKICK (Orange)
Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.
More About Lily:
Hi there! My name is Lily. I have been here at C.A.T. since January of '08, and although I have a lot of friends here, I'd really like for someone to take me home! I don't want to complain or anything; I always get a clean litter box and there's breakfast in bed every morning. But what I really want is for someone to take me home so I can wake up to the same human every morning, in a place where I can roam around and stretch my legs a little.
If you want someone with cat-itude, I'm your girl! I just turned 3 in March, and I've got a lot of spunk. Yes, I'm a little feisty, but I have to admit, I do have a bit of a soft spot for my human servants. Okay, maybe a big soft spot. In fact, if I want attention and you're not giving me any, you better believe I'll open my mouth and ask for it! And, I don't like to brag or anything, but who wouldn't want to pet my rabbit-like fur? I'm pretty sure I've got the softest coat around.
I was actually adopted from C.A.T. back in '05, when I was a baby. I loved my family, but when they started remodeling our house, I got REALLY scared, and they had to bring me back here. So, here I am, just hanging out and waiting for someone to adopt me. You may be wondering why I've been stuck here for so many months. Well, so am I! Sure, I'm probably going to need to go home with someone who has no other cats, but what can I say? I'm an independent gal. To tell you the truth, kids make me a little nervous, too. I guess I never really developed that maternal instinct. (Have you ever seen the musical "Annie?" That lady who runs the orphanage has the right idea - just kidding!)
Anyhow, now that I've introduced myself, maybe you want to get to know me a little better. You've got to at least admit that I'm pretty cute - I've got that "applehead" look that people are crazy about. I've also got a patch of fur on my side that grows out longer than the rest. I don't know how it got there exactly, but no one can say that I'm not unique!
So, why don't you go ahead and come into the shelter so you can finally meet me? Let me tell you, you won't be sorry!
