More About Bugsy & Ezzy

Bugsy (#500) and Ezzy (#501) are a bonded pair. Bugsy loves to give Izzy kisses any time they are together.

Bugsy is a 9 yr old fawn male that weighs 25 pounds. He is very loving. He does not play with toys, but does love chew bones. He is housebroken when kept on a schedule. He gets along very well with his foster sisters who are all under 2 yr old. He doesn't play with them much. He loves to be in your lap with you rubbing him constantly. He will only jump on the couch when you ask him to. He has no known health issues, is up to date on shots and has been neutered. We have not experienced any marking behaviors. He could care less about the cats in our home, it is like they are not even there. His bark is more of a woof and not a loud bark. It is actually very cute. He is comfortable sleeping in his crate, only with his Ezzy girl. If he sleeps in your bed, he likes to share your pillow. He is a great car rider, doesn't mind baths, or pedicures.

Ezzy is a black 7 yr old female that weighs 20 pounds. She is a very sweet girl. Don't let her age fool you, she can run with the best of them. She doesn't play with toys, but loves to chew on bones such as booda bones. She also gets along well with her foster sisters. She is not as tolerable to cats as Bugsy. She will chase them if they run from her. On occasion, her and the cats will sit next to each other and receive attention from their humans. She is also in very good health, but has had a severe reaction to vaccinations. Whoever adopts her will have to be aware of this and have her monitored closely when she receives them. Her bark is much louder than Bugsy's, but she will quite down with a stern NO. She is housebroken as well, up to date on shots and is spayed. She is comfortable sleeping in her crate but prefers the bed. She is also very good when she has her bath.

These two will make a great addition to any family. They will fill your heart with love just with their personalities.

Adoption Donation - $325

KPR can NOT answer any questions about a Pug until you have an approved application on file. This is due to the high volume of inquiries we receive. We are all volunteers who are very busy rescuing, caring for and transporting the rescued Pugs.

We do NOT have a central facility where you can visit our rescued Pugs. Our Pugs live in foster homes, where they are observed, evaluated and cared for until we find their ideal adoptive family.

KPR serves the states of Kentucky and Indiana. ( Permit No. P08-001703 ) If you are outside of those states, please feel free to visit Pug Rescue Links for a rescue that serves your area.

An Adoption Application must be completed before you can be considered as an adoptive home for any Pug...there are no exceptions. The adoption application helps us assist you in finding the perfect Pug for your family. If there is a particular Pug you are interested in, you may make a note of that on the Adoption Application.

All Pugs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on routine vaccinations, Fecal tested, and Heartworm Negative prior to placement. Our Adoption Donation fees, although they do not completely cover these costs, do help. Also, although we do provide the medical treatment and testing listed above before a pug is adopted...please remember, as all our Pugs are rescues, there is NO guarantee of physical condition.

Bugsy & Ezzy is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
