More About Lola

I AM IN FOSTER CARE AND NOT IN THE ORPHANAGE! My name is Lola and I'm a beautiful big-eyed brown tabby girl. I am 9 years old (dob June 1999) as is my brother, Spike. We have quite a sad story of lost homes to tell you about. When Spikey and I were just a few weeks old, we were rescued by a nice family. We were found abandoned in an apartment. Our mommy was dead, and us with 2 other siblings were still nursing on her when we were saved. Spikey and I were rescued together and stayed with that family until February 2006 when they brought us to KSC. They were moving oversees and could not take us. We were sad, but understood and quickly adjusted. We were then adopted together by a new family in April 2006. But we were returned on 1-13-08 when our mom suddenly died at a young age. Our dad was grief-stricken and could not keep us. So we were sad, but we understood. We were adopted again on 2-6-08 and were sadly returned on 10-25-08. We were adopted to a nice home that had another cat. But I didn't not adjust well because it's only been me and Spike through everything. Our dad tried to make us happy, but it wasn't working and he knew it would be best to bring us back and try again to find us the right home. So we're back, and in foster care, and very confused. Spikey and I have never ever been apart, so we must be adopted together to a home with no other pets please. Don't let our age scare you because we are healthy and young-at-heart. I am a sweet girl who can be a little timid when I first meet someone, but then I will want you to pet me and scratch me behind the ears until your hand gets numb. I am an expert at jumping up onto high shelves because I love to look down on everything and see what's going on. I am a little more independent than Spikey, and that's why we make such a good pair. I can even have moments of cuddling and grooming my brother. Spikey and I are strictly indoor cats and we really need a new home that will make sure that this is our final home. We are tired and sad of losing our homes, and we understand why our past homes did not work for us, but we want a forever home. So please contact our foster mom, Helen, at Helen_Liu@freddiemac.com if you want to meet us!
