More About Spike

I AM IN FOSTER CARE AND NOT AT THE ORPHANAGE! My name is Spike and I'm a sweet orange/white boy. I am 9 years old (dob June 1999), as is my sister Lola. Let me tell you our sad story. When Lola and I were just a few weeks old, we were rescued by a nice family. We were found abandoned in an apartment. Our mommy was dead, and us with 2 other siblings were still nursing on her when we were saved. Lola and I were rescued together and were with that family until February 2006 when they brought us to KSC. They were moving oversees and could not take us. We were sad, but understood and quickly adjusted. We were then adopted together by a new family in April 2006. But we were returned on 1-13-08 when our mom suddenly died at a young age. Our dad was grief-stricken and could not keep us. We were adopted again together on 2-6-08 and went to a nice home where there was another cat. I got along with the other cat, but Lola did not. It's always been just the two of us and with all our lost homes, it was just too much for her to handle. Our dad tried to help us and make us happy, but I even started to worry alot about Lola. So he brought us back to KSC on 10-25-08 so that we could find a place where we would be happy together and be the only pets. We are now in foster care because of so much loss in our lives. We are confused, but will be okay once we find the home that is perfect for us. Lola and I have never ever been apart, so we must be adopted together. Don't let our age scare you because we are healthy and young-at-heart. I am quite a character. I am mellow, friendly, and love attention. I love to cuddle and snuggle, and if you talk to me, I will walk along side of you and look up at you (and I can crash into things because I'm not paying attention). I can even have moments of cuddling and grooming my sister. Lola and I are strictly indoor cats and we really need a new home that will make sure that this is our final home. We are tired and sad of losing our homes and we want a forever home. So please contact our foster mom, Helen, at Helen_Liu@freddiemac.com if you want to meet us!
