Beagle, Miniature Pinscher [Mix]

MELVIN is a 5 yr. old, BEAGLE/MIN-PIN MIX. Melvin was rescued out of a high kill shelter and on death's door. He was treated for a mild case of heartworms with no complications and the vet has given him the OK to be adopted! MELVIN is a unique dog, he was a little over weight when first arriving, but we have slowly been cutting his food back and exercising him and he has losing weight and looking great!!! The best home for Melvin would be an older couple that likes to go for walks and has a calm easy lifestyle.. Melvin is good dog and gets along well with other dogs, he is fine with cats also. Melvin was abandoned at the pound because his family could no longer keep their home. We promised Melvin that he would never have to worry about being abandoned again. Melvin is nuetered, current on all shots including rabies and bordatella, on heartworm preventative and flea preventative.
