More About Oprah

UPDATE:
Oprah has now recovered from her surgeries and is ready for her forever home. She is fine with other dogs but prefers to be the center of attention. She loves to go for rides in the car and play with her toys. Her favorite spot in the house is in the middle of the king-sized bed. If you think that she could be the perfect little princess for you, please apply now.

Hi everyone: My name is Oprah but my foster mom calls me Daisy Mae. She says I am a little mini-muffin of a pug girl that has really been through alot. I came out of a shelter but before they released me they cut off half of my puggie tail because my bone was sticking out and it was badly infected. I can’t remember what happen to it. I’ve put my horrible past behind and am enjoying being loved on and cared for by my friends at OPRA and am looking for my love match. They tell me I inherited bad joints from my pug parents. My foster mom has some bad joints too, so we think we might be related. Anyway, I have already had one hip surgery and may need another; I may even need a knee surgery after that. Only time will tell. As for now, I am rehabbing and trying to lose some weight so the Vet can decide what, if anything else, I need to have done. I love all the other pugs and the people in my foster home. I am a little love bug of a pug that just wants love and attention. I love to snuggle and sleep on the huge people bed. I am housebroken but I don’t give much notice because of the numbness in my hind legs. I love to go for walks and am extremely laid back. My only negative habit is I beg for food when you are eating (but don’t all pugs do that). If you love me and want to adopt me, please send your application today. If my OPRA friends determine that you are a home that would be able and willing to help me if I do need surgery, you could adopt me now and we can start our happily ever after life together. If you love me but can’t adopt me, please send a donation to help OPRA with my medical expenses. They sure can use it.

My friends at OPRA are all Volunteers and they are working very hard to find me a good home. So, please do not call them about me until you have submitted an application.
