Plato is one of those dogs who would have been written off years ago at the pound. He was terrified when he came in and labeled; aggressive, which was the temperament he was displaying on intake. But now look at him! He loves everyone and is easy to handle after gentle volunteers worked with him. Please don't let him become a statistic. We love Plato, give him a chance, and we think you will love him too! Stop in and meet this handsome guy! Picked up as a stray on 3/7. Available on 3/11. $86.00 fee includes license, 4 way shot, Bordetella vaccine, flea treatment if necessary. Some dogs are also wormed, Heartworm tested. $50.00 goes to the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. We take cash only, no checks, or credit cards. Because most of our dogs in the kennel are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Stray dogs are held 72 hours before being placed for adoption. 501c3 Rescue Organizations may pull a dog at a reduced rate, but must provide proof of non-profit status. When adopting a dog from a public facility, that information is considered public record.
