--Chester Beagle Spring Lake, NJ

Chester was a foster failure! Ten days after he arrived their own beagle of 13 passed away and Chester so flawlessly slid into his spot in the pack they thought it must be fate. Chester is now living in a pack of Five and loves his new family very much!! They made the decision at Pets for Patriots and his foster mom & dad said when they got home it was like he knew the way he pranced into the kitchen and barked excitedly to the rest of the pack who was surrounding him. :-)

Chester is a happy, friendly, adult, child and dog friendly Beagle boy.  Sadly, his family fell on hard times and could no longer keep him.  Chester is 12 years old but is still quite playful and yet has that wonderful blend of puppy play and mature, rest time!  

He walks very nicely on a leash, is housebroken, loves car rides, loves to play fetch and can even amuse himself quite nicely with a ball or toy.  Chester is a wonderful companion and family dog, so if you are looking for a new friend and family member, please adopt Chester!  Please apply at RescueRidge.com   He is in a loving foster home with several other dogs and gets along great with them, too! Chester grew up with a canine companion as well so the foster family thinks it would be best that Chester not be an only dog. He absolutely loves being outside now that the weather is so beautiful! A fenced (or e-fenced) in yard would be great!
