04 Bongo/ADOPTED Pit Bull Terrier Canton, OH

Picked up as a stray on 2/11. Available on 2/15. Bongo is a very strong dog, who pretty much takes the volunteers for a walk! He's a nice dog though, and he does relax on the leash if you make him, he's just anxious to get outside! Bongo has really got the looks too, he has stopped quite a few people now, just to admire his handsomeness! He is friendly, pretty active, curious, as you can see in his video. There are so many smells at the pound, with all the dogs, keeps their noses busy! Bongo would love to be adopted soon, and with a family who will give this guy the exercise and attention he needs. Come in and visit with Bonbog! $86.00 fee includes license, 4 way shot, Bordetella vaccine, flea treatment if necessary. Some dogs are also wormed, Heartworm tested. $50.00 goes to the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. We take cash only, no checks, or credit cards. Because most of our dogs in the kennel are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Stray dogs are held 72 hours before being placed for adoption. 501c3 Rescue Organizations may pull a dog at a reduced rate, but must provide proof of non-profit status. When adopting a dog from a public facility, that information is considered public record.
