Update 3/1: Poor Breeze, it has to be tough to watch the other dogs walk by, tail in the air wagging, they were adopted, and waiting has become a way of life for him. Breeze is quick to learn, seems obedient, look at those pictures! He doesn't even have to be told to sit, he knows! Breeze is getting frustrated, and we don't want this guy to lose his sweet personality, please help Breeze find his forever home. Picked up as a stray on 1/31. Available on 2/4. Breeze, yet another thin pit bull found as a stray. This guy has been easy to handle, walks good on the leash, goes in and out of his pen like a charm. Breeze is enjoying some good food, and attention from volunteers, and a young visitor. He is settling in, but would love to be in a warm caring home! Breeze is a handsome fellow, and look how well he sits and waits for his treat. This sweet dog could probably be taught about anything...fetch the paper, bring you your slippers...well, you could try anyhow!! Please consider giving Breeze the home and family he deserves! Some dogs are also wormed, Heartworm tested. $50.00 goes to the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. We take cash only, no checks, or credit cards. Because most of our dogs in the kennel are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Stray dogs are held 72 hours before being placed for adoption. 501c3 Rescue Organizations may pull a dog at a reduced rate, but must provide proof of non-profit status. When adopting a dog from a public facility, that information is considered public record.
