Meet Marky

MY AGE: approx. 1-2 yrs. WEIGHT: 15lbs. (needs to gain weight) WHERE I AM FROM: AL
MY STORY:from his AL fostermom......Marky claims your heart the first time you touch him! All that hair and it’s SO soft. It doesn’t even seem to mat much, even it is long. But under that hair he is very skinny – you feel every bone!
Marky craves loving and follows me everywhere, but he is not pushy. He likes the other dogs and does not bother the cats. Marky especially loves people and meets new folks happily, even the grandkids who sometimes frighten new dogs with their energy.
As thin as Marky is, he does not eat much. I’ve been feeding him several times a day and have been surprised that he doesn’t immediately gobble up every bite. oo!
Marky’s potty habits have improved. Though he had accidents initially he now goes outside and does what needs to be done consistently. When he first arrived Marky was suffering from diarrhea and did not feel well. He feels much better, has more energy and has had no more accidents inside.
Marky has been sleeping in my room, on a rug by my bed, but jumps up to greet me with kisses in the morning. He gets along with the other dogs, no food aggression at meal time, and enjoys playing with several of them in the back yard.
Marky is still a puppy and enjoys chewing. He will need to have some appropriate chew toys and you will need to keep temptations out of his reach. He’s a quick learner though – when told NO he leaves the shoe, paper, remote, pillow, etc. alone and happily accepts an appropriate toy.
Marky has been with us only a few days and will be leaving too soon. I’m really gonna miss this precious boy. He will be a wonderful addition to any family.
Marky just arrived in Wisconsin and is a sweet boy. A little shy from his travels. His coloring is just amazing. He has just been groomed.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION. The application can be found on our site www.fluffydog.net, or by clicking on the purple Fluffy Dog Rescue link found under the dogs name in the left corner of this page.
Our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state. We do not have a facility. Adopters must be 24 years old.We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
