Lola (ID #38) is a young female hound/pointer mix who was brought in as a stray. She spent the first couple days at the pound terrified and would not come out, but one very special volunteer worked with her for hours yesterday and finally coaxed her out. Lola is still a little unsure of new people at first, but a few treats will quickly gain you a new friend. Lola walks pretty nicely on a leash (until she sees a squirrel!) and loves treats and petting. Lola will be available for adoption on January 17
All dogs are spayed/neutered before you bring them home. $80 to the vet for a rabies vaccine and spay/neuter. $55 at the pound for a dhlpp vaccine, 1 dose of wormer and a license. TOTAL: $135.
All breeds are just guess'. Please do not call the pound and complain or any volunteer. Once you adopt your wonderful new family member your vet can give a professional opinion. ~ Thanks for helping these wonderful dogs!
