Update 1/11: Poor Lyanna, she has been here the longest now! She is becoming frustrated at the pound. Maybe that's what people see first, a dog dancing around in her pen, and think oh, she's too hyper for me! Lyanna isn't hyper, she's bored to death in her pen. She is young, loves playing, and she loves being near people, cuddling with them. Lyanna is adorable with her wild ears...they are like rotating antennas! Please, help us save Lyanna by finding her a forever home, soon. Release date 12/11. Lyanna is the new kid on the block, and was rather shy of her surroundings when she was brought in. This cute dog quickly trusted us to take her outside, and let her have some fun in the snow! She sits pretty for her treats, and seems like a very friendly and sweet dog. We hope someone is looking for her! Lyanna may need your help if not claimed, so keep an eye on this girl. Stop by and visit the homeless dogs at the Stark Pound, give them the gift of life, adopt a dog (or two) today! $86.00 fee includes license, 4 way shot, Bordetella vaccine, flea treatment if necessary. Some dogs are also wormed, Heartworm tested. $50.00 goes to the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. We take cash only, no checks, or credit cards. Because most of our dogs in the kennel are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Stray dogs are held 72 hours before being placed for adoption. 501c3 Rescue Organizations may pull a dog at a reduced rate, but must provide proof of non-profit status. When adopting a dog from a public facility, that information is considered public record.
