Rocky-adopted Alaskan Malamute & Husky Mix Saskatoon, SK

Rocky has a gentle and sweet personality to match his teddy bear like appearance.  He is very fond of his people and wants nothing more than to be close to them at all times.  He always has kisses to give and loves a good bear hug.  Rocky is still a bit unsure of the world and is a bit shy and unsure of new people and situations, but daily dog park trips have dramatically helped build his confidence.  He looks to the other dog in his foster home for guidance and would do best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes.  Rocky comes house trained, crate trained, car trained and is picking up on recall more every day.  He walks reasonably well on the leash, but still needs gentle reminders at times.  Rocky is a mellow boy and as long as he gets a walk each day he is content to lounge and snuggle for the rest.  If you have room in your heart for a happy-go-lucky 70 pound lap dog, Rocky is your boy!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
