Seiko Husky Mix Alpharetta, GA

White has long been a color to represent innocence, and our boy Seiko, a beautiful 50-pound Husky, is no exception to that saying.

This young, unique boy with bi-colored eyes is shy, but sweet. He was found abandoned in a warehouse where he was tied to a car. There were other dogs abandoned with him, so while he was lacking in human interaction, he had canine companions to keep him company through the tough times they all faced.

Understandably, Seiko adores other dogs, and he is even comfortable with cats. He has a slight fear of new people, yet he responds to gentleness with a sweet shyness.

Because of what Seiko endured, he suffers from separation anxiety. He needs a very special family to call his own; one that will be patient with him, and help build his fragile confidence. It is absolutely essential for Seiko to have a medium-to-large canine friend to show him the way. Once Seiko begins to feel cozy in his new home, he will respond to basic commands, walk well on a leash, and will even curl up next to his person on the couch to watch their favorite shows.

He is still working on becoming housebroken, but with a regular schedule, Seiko will master it easily. It's also important to note about Seiko that he is an adept jumper, and so his forever home will definitely need a 6-foot fenced-in yard and a secure, locked gate. Not only does he have incredible jumping abilities; he loves to run and play, so a yard will be quite beneficial for him.

For many reasons, Seiko would do best with someone who is home most of the time. He needs reassurance and an incredible amount of love. He must be shown that he will never be abandoned again.
