Meet Pascal

DOB 4/15/2007 and has been back at ELPO since 5/30/14 when his adoption did not work out.
Pascal had been adopted but he got very sick due to stress and not eating when the other cat in the home asserted herself. The vet has said it is better for his health to not live in a home with another cat. He is a very loving in his own way. His favorite activity is sitting in a lap to be pet. He may seem like a grouch at first but he really isn't; he just has his own way of doing things. Typical cat and even more typical Siamese! :)

Pascal is a handsome boy who has been here since April of 2013. Pascal has had some grumpy issues in the past but has made a lot of progress since staying in one of the bedrooms at the cat clinic instead of in a kennel. He has become rather sweet but can sometimes get a little feisty. He loves to play and have his head scratched. One of our regular volunteers says “I spend a little time talking to him and playing with my "cat fishing pole" almost every visit.”
He obviously needs a home where he can settle in and get comfortable. Cats need stability and it is so true of Pascal.
Can you please share him and help us find him a home? Pascal would be ever so grateful!
Siamese are known for their intelligence and loyalty to people.

We are located inside of East Lake Veterinary Hospital at 10101 E. Northwest Hwy in Dallas (just north of White Rock Lake, or just east of the Northwest Highway/Audelia intersection).

The first step in adopting would be to come by our facility to meet our cats and kittens in person to see if the animal that you are interested in is a good match for you, after all, a very large part of the adoption process is based on finding the right chemistry. There are a lot of good people, and a lot of good animals, but that doesn't mean that they automatically go together and selecting the right animal for your particular household is a very personal decision.

After meeting with our orphans, if you find an animal that you feel is right for your family, you will then need to fill out an adoption application. After submission of an adoption application, the animal is placed on hold until 5 pm on the following business day (processing of an adoption application can take up to two business days). Once an adoption is approved, there is an adoption agreement to be filled out and a goody bag for us to review before sending any of the orphans home.

The adoption donation for felines is $135.00 (there is a $20 discount on the total donation if you adopt two or more orphans at the same time). The adoption donation includes: Spay/neuter surgery, testing for FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia), age appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatments, microchipping/microchip registration, and flea/heartworm preventative up to the point of adoption.
In the first 30 days after adoption we offer a free physical examination, nutritional assessment and wellness consultation to help make sure that the new adoptee has the best start in life in their new home. For those adopting puppies or kittens, they also get a 20% discount on vaccines to get them through their first year of life.

Additional questions about the adoption process, or an orphan listed on our website, can be directed to us by email at elpo@welovepets.net or by phone at 214-349-ELPO (3576). Adoptee information is updated several times each week, though we recommend calling before you visit to confirm availability of any animal you might be interested in.
