Meet Chrissa: Adopted!
Date of birth: 2008
1/23/14: Chrissa is a beautiful black and white Ragdoll. She has a fluffy coat, but under all that fur she's pretty small and only weighs 7 lbs. Chrissa is 5 years old. She gets along very well with other cats. She's playful and likes to play with toys.
Chrissa was timid when she first arrived. She had been living in a hoarding situation with about 30 other cats. The cats were in fairly good condition, but they did not get a lot of socialization. Chrissa has made a lot of progress since she first arrived at our shelter. She's silly and much more outgoing now. She doesn't mind being brushed. She may take a little time to adjust to her new home, but she should do really well in a fairly quite home and be a wonderful companion.
MORE ON ADOPTING OUR CATS...
Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for more information about our adoption process, our adoption fees and all that's included, and for a pet adoption application.
> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. Kittens who are too young to receive all the necessary kitten boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. Take advantage of our ADOPT-A-BUDDY program: Adopt two cats or kittens together at a greatly reduced adoption fee!
> Most of our cats are not confined in cages but instead live in our spacious and sunny cat rooms. It's a great environment for them, it allows us to get to know them well, and it's a nice environment for you to come in to visit -- and find your perfect match!
> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our pets, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the pet home with you that same day unless you've submitted an online applications and arrangements have been made prior to your visit.
Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
