Hercules Australian Shepherd & American Eskimo Dog Mix Ukiah, CA

This sweet beauty is one of many dogs who recently came to us from a hording situation. And like most of them he is shy due to lack of socialization and individual attention. This pup deserves to be showered with love and attention so that he gains confidence and knows that he is a wonderful, deserving boy! We would like to see him go to a home that will understand his past and be patient and gentle as he learns to trust humans and settle into his true self. We have no doubt that behind his shyness there is a truly spectacular dog. He is so sweet and loving, eager to please and well behaved. Hercules would be fine living with kids or other dogs as long as they are gentle and not too aggressive or intimidating. He would also be a grea companion for an adult who wants a best friend and snuggle buddy! He is 2 years old and weighs 47 pounds.

Although our usual adoption policy is, first come, first to get the dog, we do make special arrangements with people traveling long distances, so contact us to find out how to have a dog held for you.
All dogs are spayed and neutered before they can go home with you. If you rent you must have written permission to have a pet. If you live in Mendocino County any dog you have now must be licensed.

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10-5
Sundays Monday and holidays: CLOSED
Adoptions must begin 1/2 hours before closing.
