Meet Tasha-5/1/15

PF has added "no small children under 5 to the dog's bios & at this time, it cannot be changed. Animal Alliance's policy is that we do not adopt to families with children under 9 years.
TASHA is an 8 year old spayed female energetic wirehaired terrier mix. While she has the body, spunk, and agility of a terrier, we think she has a health dose of Chihuahua in her gene pool as well, based on her facial structure, ears and short legs. TASHA loves to run and play and comes when her name is called. While she gets along very well with male dogs, the terrier in her makes her a little bossy with female dogs. TASHA had a miserable life before she came into our care and as a result, she is scared and shy when first meeting new people. She takes a little bit of time to warm up, but once she does, she'ss devoted and loyal and adoring. Her foster mother can call her name from a distance and she come running, tail wagging like crazy and leap into her arms. But, when first introduced to a new person, she almost cowers in fear and may even growl. So, only dog savvy, patient, loving people should apply for this little gem of a dog. 15 pounds of energy and love await you if you have what it takes to be TASHA's lifelong guardian!
This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.
Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.
Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
