***Scrappy's Adoption Fee is $50 & Pets Alive will cover his basic medical needs for 1 year (with our veterinarian)!*** Scrappy has been here a long time. He was one of the very first dogs that we took in under the “new” Pets Alive. Scrappy did not live with a good owner. Luckily a few people found out about Scrappy's living situation and contacted Pets Alive to rescue this nice boy. Scrappy is a dog that is very loving toward humans and just cannot ever live with other dogs. We have had lots of dogs like him and most of them have been adopted. Scrappy has been here almost four, long, years. He is a sweet dog, but he needs to be an only dog. He has three strikes against him. He has to be an only dog. He is a pitbull. He is black. Those three things combined together make him an extremely difficult placement. We happen to love Scrappy. He is estimated to be about 5 years old. He covers your face with kisses and he desperately, DESPERATELY wants a home. This would be a loyal and loving companion to someone that could keep him away from other dogs. He can be walked around other dogs, live next to other other dogs (he lives in a pen connected to Bindi and they have no problems at all) but he cannot be enclosed or trusted free with another dog. PLEASE, PLEASE consider giving Scrappy a chance. Please. He deserves someone. He really could use a break and a loving home. He really is a good and friendly dog.
