Lily Tabby & Bengal Mix Taylor, MI

Lily was only 1 year old with a litter of kittens when our volunteers rescued her and her kittens from certain death at animal control, over 4 years ago. You see, it was kitten season at the time and the shelter was overfilled with moms and kittens just like Lily. And actually, several moms and kittens were rescued by our group that same day. Lily has always stood out to us. She has a soft patience presence that you notice. She seems to have positive energy around her all the time and this tends to attract cats to her. We found placement for all of her kittens and LIly that same year. In December, 2010, Lily was returned to our group after three years of adoption, due to the owner developing allergies. So, here is Lily again, Sweet and Patient as ever, with not a care in the world. She reminds us of a Pooh Bear temperment, really. We are looking for a home for Lily that would like to be her forever family. Lily has had a lot to go through in her life already and we would like her next placement with a family to be her forever one. She deserves that. And we think you will love her just as much as we have too. Lily has excellent littler box habits, is spayed, felv/fiv tested negative, current on her shots, fecal checked negative. No fleas or parasites on this girl! We are still working on taking the extra weight off her (video displays her weight when she first returned, and photos were taken 5 months later) and she is doing fabulously with that. Clean bill of health from the vet.
As a side note, she even nursed an orphaned kitten that was not her own when she first arrived in our care. Very loving soul. Perfect cat for children, and multi animal households too or a person who is home alot to keep her company if other animals are not present.
