Born October 2004, Beignet (pronounced benyay) was rescued from the ravages of Hurricane Katrina off the streets of New Orleans. Her name is from the famous French Market doughnut -- the symbol of New Orleans and the French Quarter.

She has rabbity-soft ticked coat, big wide eyes like a British Shorthair and a quiet demeanor - a true beauty!
