Toby II - ADOPTED Cairn Terrier Mix Haymarket, VA

Toby is a handsome 2-year-old wheaten male Cairn terrier who has an extremely sweet and happy disposition; he likes attention and is eager to please. He gets along well with other dogs. He is very active and likes to hunt and chase all furry and feathered creatures, so he should be kept on a leash when outside a fenced area.


The ideal home for Toby would have a securely fenced area where Toby could explore on his own, but also get a long walk on a leash at least once a day. Toby would do best in a home on his own or with one other dog. More than that, and he might get lost in a crowd and not get the attention he deserves.



Toby was surrendered by his owner because she developed health problems and could no longer are for him. He weighs about 14½ lbs, is neutered and up-to-date on vet care and vaccinations.


Because we are a regional organization with limited volunteers, you must be a resident of Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, or Washington DC to adopt from us.
