Meet Pippi ADOPTION PENDING

ADOPTION PENDING

Meet Pippi:: 3 to 4 years old, 70 pounds, Spayed Female German Shepherd Dog.

Accepting Applications!

Pippi arrived at our rescue pregnant, after living a rough life of neglect, over-breeding and hunger. Sadly, she miscarried her puppies shortly after arriving and Pippi mourned her babies for a several days, but slowly started wagging her tail again and seeking affection from her foster family. She is almost fully healed from her spay surgery and gaining some weight back too!

Pippi is great with her foster's children (teenagers) and gets along with their dogs, but does not seek companionship from them. She ignores their dog savvy cat and would do fine in a home with cats who are used to dogs. She is a very gentle girl and just loves to get attention and affection. Pippi is house broken and she will reluctantly stay in a crate if needed, but she is fine if you leave her out as long as you put the trash can away where she can't get to it. Otherwise, she just sits and waits patiently for you to get back.

Pippi is ready to find a forever home who will love her and give her the family and life she deserves, it's her turn to be someone's baby! Pippi is a total sweetheart right off the bat with everyone she meets but, because of her past neglect, Pippi will take a few days to really open up in her new home and will need a home who is willing to be patient and understanding while she comes around in her own time.
