Meet Ross

AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS.

IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT :)

Meet Ross:; 1 year old, 75 pounds, Neutered Male Golden Retriever/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Hound mix.

Available for Adoption!

Ross is one of the R puppy family we rescued in 2019. Their mom, Riley (pictured), is a golden retriever mix and their dad was believed to be a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (but we think he probably had a little hound in him too). Ross was adopted at ~16 weeks old and his family has recently decided to return him to us after they said he was insecure with strangers and were unwilling to work with him on this. So far, Ross has been happy, goofy and affectionate with everyone he has met since he's been back with us.

Ross is extremely sweet and affectionate, housebroken, knows basic commands and is a fast learner, is crate trained, very well-mannered in the home, and gets along with other dogs he meets. He is typically a pretty laid back dog, but he also loves playing, including with other dogs and chewing on his toys.

Ross is doing amazing in his foster home, he is a happy and goofy boy. He is doing great with their 10 year old child and loves their other dogs. So far, he has greeted every new person with a wagging tail and a big smile! Ross is searching for his true forever family who will give him the life and love he deserves!

$145 Adoption Fee.
