Emily Terrier & Beagle Mix Saint Charles, MO

Hi, I'm Emily and I'm a great mother. I just had a litter (at least my second one) April 7 and my puppies were so good. All nine of them were weaned by 5 1/2 weeks and adopted at 8 1/2 weeks. But don't worry, I'm now spayed, so my puppy-having days are over. Whew!

Now I am transitioning back to being a pet. My one fault is I don't like male dogs and have to get to know female dogs before I'm sure of them. I'm house- and crate-trained, but I cry a little on car rides when I can't be by the driver. I absolutely LOVE my wet food and also eat my dry food. Treats are nice, but only the ones I like. But don't worry, I like humans better than my food. Speaking of humans, I'm quite leery of them at first, but after a little get-to-know-you period, I like them to walk and talk with me. Of course, that should lead to cuddling on the couch, but I let the humans lead. I have a good recall and don't mind doing my business on walks, so if there is no fenced yard, I'm not worried about it. Of course, I would like running around in a yard, if available. I'm healthy and up-to-date on my shots, so I shouldn't have to go to a vet for about 11 months.
