Meet Lola

L-O-L-A !

Female Jack Russell (Parson Russell Terrier)/Black Russian Terrier/Boxer/Bull Terrier mix (Breeds confirmed with the Wisdom Panel Mixed Breed DNA Test)

Peaceful, Centered, Loving, That's Lola !

Lola is not a drama queen, just the basics, easy does it, lets hang out. Lola wants only to add to your day. She will be a great companion for someone! Lola could easily spend the entire day at your side but she understands life and will spend quite time alone if that fits your schedule. Lola will wait for her quality time a bit later. Because she is a lady she that crates beautifully and is not known to chew up your house or make a mess.

Let Lola's expressive eyes follow you through your day. If you glance back into those eyes, note the sparkle and excitement that Lola has just because you have let her share your day. Lola will help you remember the simple pleasures in life so many of us have raced by. Lola likes to literally lean on you to let you know how much she appreciates being near. She is taller than most and athletically built. Lola would be a great running partner and like most dogs does best with daily exercise. Lola also enjoys walks and play time but isn't demanding. Lola is a combination of intelligence, grace and beauty with a loving personality.

No fuss, no mess, just a loving lady. Are you ready to share your life with Lola?

Lola is 22 inches tall at her shoulders and weighs about 53 pounds. For comparison, the lowest part of the knee of a person 5'10 tall is about 19 inches
above ground and a carton of milk is a little over 10 inches tall.

Adoption Process

Guardianship Application available for download at

http://tinyurl.com/MAPSFiles

The Adoption process is designed to help best place dogs with homes that are in the best interest of the dogs and their human companions. The adoption process starts with a prescreen review of an Guardian Application. Making decisions about dog placement in adoptive homes is an art not a science and there will be times when applications will be denied for various reason(s). This is left to the discretion of the MAPS after reviewing relevant information. MAPS reserves the right to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care into a foster or adoptive home. There is no guarantee that any applicant(s) requesting to adopt a dog being fostered through MAPS, or posted on MAP's web site, will be granted an adoption. After a successful prescreen, including background checks, the applicant(s) are notified that they can visit the dogs and a time slot is made for the dog and applicant interaction. After the interaction we encourage several days of reflection before adopting a pet to help assure this will be a lifetime commitment of love and quality care for the dog. Next we conduct a home/neighborhood visit to the Guardian Applicant's home. If the home visit proves successful the new mom and/or dad of the dog will sign an Adoption Agreement and share a lifetime of love !
