Meet Nickleby:: Male Dachshund and Schipperke mix, 12 weeks old, 5 pounds.

Available for Adoption!

Nickleby is the last remaining of the N pups available for adoption! These little cuties were surrendered to rescue after their owners failed to spay/neuter their pets in time. We are making sure mom and dad are spayed/neutered and making sure these babies get the best forever homes possible! They are playful and spunky and ready to find their people! Please do your research if you are unfamiliar with the Schipperke breed before applying to adopt.

$195 Adoption Fee.

All puppies are dewormed, started on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

All puppies will be adopted with current, age appropriate vaccines, given by Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue will provide their first 3 rounds of puppy vaccines at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age.

Puppy adopters will be will be required to bring the puppy back to Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue to receive any remaining puppy vaccines after adoption.

Puppy adopters will also be required to bring the puppy to our vet for their spay/neuter surgery after they receive their 16 week vaccination.

The spay/neuter and puppy vaccines are included with the puppy adoption fee.

Along with other criteria evaluated in the adoption application, a Fenced Yard is required to adopt.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
