Kona American Staffordshire Terrier Conover, NC

***Courtesy post*** She is with an owner that needs to find her a new home.

She is a 3 year old pit bull mix who is about 54 lbs, we've had her since she was 4 months old.

She is an absolute sweetheart with adults, she's a grade A snuggle and kiss giver. We don't have kids nor has she ever been around kids so we don't know about that. We do have 2 cats and she does great with them but she has chased my parents cat. She's a very energetic girl who loves to hike, swim and mountain bike. She would do best in a home with homeowners who love outdoor activity as much as she does.

We've had several instances over the past 1.5 years where she had been in fights with other dogs, both our own and others. The vet feels as though she has reached maturity and simply does not understand other dogs' cues to back off and instead becomes hyper alert. After much deliberation, we and the vet feel she would do best in a single dog home.

She is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. She does have a HomeAgain chip. She receives all preventive medications and has her annual exams.
