"Be loyal to the royal within you" and make me your best mate for life! My official title is Sir Duke Wellington, but my close chaps call me “Duke”. I am a 7 year young,102 pound Labrador Retriever nobleman who would make you a stellar companion. I am a true gent who has wonderful manners as I am house and crate trained. You simply have to say,“ kennel up” and I am there. In addition to being a gentleman I am also very scholarly. I know how to sit, lay down, stay, roll over, shake and speak when my king or queen requests it. I have been told I have a refined & sophisticated palate as I have a fondness for carrots, blueberries, and green beans and I do like to watch my waistline these days. I do require a daily thyroid med, but it is inexpensive so it will not cause you to pawn the family jewels. All of my tricks will entertain the commoners, but you will be my royalty who I wish to please and entertain the most! I look forward to taking long strolls by your side and my forever residence should be a lovely house. Hence, if you happen to have a fenced courtyard that would be delightful, but not necessary as my leash skills have become quite refined. Also, I am not requiring a moat, drawbridge, or topiary at this time. However, I do insist my forever abode be filled with love. I can bring the entertainment with my repertoire of tricks —no jester needed. I am a loyal gent who does well with large, laid back dogs. I am gentle & kind hearted, but still a big fella so school aged children would be the best fit in our kingdom. I am a delightful chap who is a true love! My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
