Silas Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Springfield, MO

Who is the goodest boy? Is it me? Well, everyone I meet thinks I’m the goodest boy ever. I’m Silas! I’m a 54 lb, 1 year old Catahoula leopard mix. I’m still very much a puppy in my playfulness. I love my toys and will occupy myself for hours playing by myself with my squeaky toys or balls. Although I can keep myself entertained, I’d really love a doggy playmate. I’m great with all dogs, literally ALL dogs! I just want someone to play with. Although I’m a very friendly and understanding fella, I’ll really need a playmate who can handle that I’m VERY active and relentless in my wish to play. As for those little humans, they are my favorite of all. I really just want to play with them, but sometimes I can get a little rough. You see, my ancestors had herded animals for many years. I’m not much of an animal herder, or at least I’ve never tried, but I like to herd the little humans in the house with my playful bumps. It’s all very playful, but can be a little too much for littles that aren’t quite used to playful pups. That said, I’d really like some dog saavy little humans in my house that will let me cuddle after a long day of ball throwing. I’d also like to add that I do wonderful in my crate and do all of my “business” outside. You may have to watch me and remind me to do ALL of my business outside, but I’m a very smart boy and am learning very quickly without as many reminders.
