Maple Great Pyrenees Mix South Windsor, CT

Hi my name is Maple and I am a 4 year old, 75lb Great Pyrenees (badger). I was only 55lbs when the rescue took me in because my prior owners put me outside and stopped feeding me every day. Thankfully I am now in the most awesome foster home I could imagine. My foster parents are both chefs who are wasting no time fattening me up and spoiling me rotten! I have already gained a lot of my weight back and my coat is looking fantastic. I currently live with twin 5 year old girls who give me tons of affection and love when they spend time with me. There are also 2 large resident dogs who I love to play with outside, and I sleep and eat next to them every day. So if you are in the market for a Pyrenees with a perfect personality, I am your pup! I get along with everyone and everything. I am house trained and crate trained, although I do not need to be crated while you work as I have perfect house manners. I know most of my commands, am really good at "waiting" and I respond to my name. Do you know any other Pyr that does that?! I have not lived with a cat yet so I am not sure exactly how I feel about them but I don't really have much of a prey drive.

My ideal forever home must include a physical fence where I can sit outside in the sun and survey my surroundings. And someone who has some experience with my breed and know our love of barking at the New England leaves falling from all the trees! I would love some kids and definitely a doggie sibling or two to play with. And of course, I would like lots of love and attention from everyone in my new family! I am a very happy boy and looking forward to my new forever home.

I am healthy, spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations and currently in a foster home in Texas. But my bags are packed and I will be heading to CT in 2 weeks.
