Meet Midas

AT PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE, WE UPDATE ALL OF OUR PETS ON A REGULAR BASIS.

IF YOU SEE ME HERE, I AM AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. PLEASE READ MY BIO BELOW TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT :)

Meet Midas:: 5 years old, 50 pounds, Neutered Male Golden Retriever and Miniature Poodle mix. (Mini Goldendoodle)

Available for Adoption or Foster!

Midas is a good boy, and very affectionate and well behaved for his person, but he does not do well with children or strangers coming into the home, and may nip at them. Midas will need a quiet home with someone who understands his needs and will keep him feeling safe and comfortable. He seems to bond best with female people and he is easily contained in a crate when needed. Midas is not too fond of most other dogs and will do best as an only dog in the home. He is housebroken, and very well-mannered in the home and he will make an excellent companion for the right person. He loves to go on walks and car rides, he is very intelligent and affectionate and he is well behaved for grooming. Midas bonds deeply with his person and always keeps them smiling and laughing at his adorable personality. Midas truly is an amazing dog, he just hasn't found the right family yet.

We had to have Midas's left eye removed due to Glaucoma. He was blind in the eye for a couple years before he came to our rescue and our vet recommended removing the eye. Midas gets around great without it and doesn't let it phase him. He has a prosthetic eye in place of the eye that was removed.

Other information: Midas sheds and he is not "hypoallergenic." Midas needs regular brushing at home and professional grooming every 6 to 9 weeks.
